If you have ISDN2 and you want to use our live telephone answering service you need to get your provider to enable Call Forwarding. We use BT in this example; if you have another provider, please check with them for their process as it may be different, although the principle is the same.
You can activate Call Forward yourself if you have suitable equipment – check with your provider.
You can forward:
all calls
calls when your lines are busy
calls when there is no reply
calls when there is no reply or your lines are busy
BT call forwarding product codes.
If you have suitable equipment and want to activate call forwarding yourself as and when you want, BT’s product code is A52962.
If your equipment does not allow you to activate call forward yourself, their product codes are:
Forward all calls – BT code A38287
Forward calls when your line is busy – BT code A38289
Forward calls if there is no reply – BT code A38288
Forward calls when your line is busy or there is no reply - BT codes 38289 and 38288.
